A First for the UK
For the first time in the UK, Animal Crossing: New Horizons, which has captivated over 46 million players worldwide since its debut in March 2020, is joining forces with SEA LIFE UK to bring a live experience to fans. This unique collaboration gives visitors the chance to explore a fascinating underwater world alongside characters from the game.
Starting on February 8, 2025, at SEA LIFE Manchester, this exciting tour will make its way to SEA LIFE Birmingham, SEA LIFE Brighton, SEA LIFE London, and SEA LIFE Chessington World of Adventures Resort. Both SEA LIFE enthusiasts and Animal Crossing fans are sure to find joy in this enchanting journey.
A Fun-Filled Immersive Journey
SEA LIFE UK, part of Merlin Entertainments—the world’s second-largest leisure group and operator of the biggest aquarium network globally—is the perfect backdrop for this extraordinary adventure. Each attraction, with themed zones spanning the Atlantic, Arctic, Rainforest, and Tropics, provides a window into the stunning diversity of marine life.
Catherine Pritchard, General Manager at SEA LIFE London Aquarium, expressed her excitement about the collaboration: "We’re absolutely thrilled to offer this unique experience at various SEA LIFE locations. Guests will embark on a journey alongside Animal Crossing: New Horizons characters while being surrounded by the thousands of incredible creatures in our exhibits, from Green Sea Turtles to Zebra Sharks. It promises to be a fun, engaging adventure for families and friends alike."
Meet the Characters and Enjoy Activities
Visitors will be guided through the ‘Sea Life Islands’, meeting beloved island residents such as Aurora and Octavian, while discovering a myriad of sea creatures. There will be a fossil dig where visitors can learn about the ancient relatives of today’s marine life, alongside a quest to find Gulliver, who has washed ashore.
Guests can collect character stamps, uncover fascinating trivia about the SEA LIFE inhabitants, and even meet Tom Nook and Isabelle. The journey concludes with the opportunity to purchase Animal Crossing: New Horizons merchandise from the aquarium store.
