TinyBuild, both a developer and publisher, has recently completed the sale of its quality assurance company, Red Cerberus. The rights to Red Cerberus have been transferred to TestFly, a well-known testing firm, through a transaction worth $1.5 million, which will be paid out in cash once the deal finalizes.
Kevin Chelius, CEO of TestFly, expressed his enthusiasm about the acquisition, saying, “We are excited to bring Red Cerberus into the TestFly family. Their expertise and respected industry standing are a perfect match for our mission to raise the bar in game testing. This move solidifies our dedication to helping game developers and publishers deliver top-notch gaming experiences on a worldwide scale, while also bolstering our presence in Latin America.”
Alex Nichiporchik, the head of TinyBuild, also shared his thoughts on the sale: “Parting ways with Red Cerberus is a significant step as we refine our focus and concentrate on our strengths—developing and expanding remarkable intellectual properties. Red Cerberus played an integral role in our achievements, and I want to extend my gratitude to the team for their hard work.”
Nichiporchik further explained, “By reallocating our resources towards our core creative ventures, we aim to maximize long-term revenue opportunities with the launch of new game IPs. We are eagerly anticipating the release of certain promising games in 2025 and continue to be enthusiastic about what lies ahead for TinyBuild.”
