Last week saw an interesting shake-up on Steam, with the Early Access crime game, Schedule 1, taking the top spot. Released on March 24th by TVGS, this intriguing title quickly climbed to No. 1, and it plans to remain in Early Access for about two years. In doing so, it outperformed Valve’s much-anticipated Counter-Strike 2, pushing it down to second place.
Another notable debut came from Inzoi, a new competitor to The Sims, which landed in the third position, hinting at yet another success for Krafton. On the other hand, the co-op horror game REPO slipped to the fourth place compared to the previous week. It did, however, manage to surpass the fresh action RPG The First Berserker: Khazan, by Neople. This game is particularly exciting for fans of the Dungeon Fighter Online series, which enjoys massive popularity across Asia.
The Steam Deck from Valve dropped to sixth place, following Assassin’s Creed Shadows, which experienced a slide to seventh in its second week on the platform. Meanwhile, Split Fiction, a collaboration between Hazelight and Electronic Arts, moved down to eighth.
Capcom’s Monster Hunter Wilds also saw a slight dip, landing in ninth place. However, Apex Legends made a comeback, sneaking into the top ten of the charts.
