It’s true. There’s a Cyberpunk 2077 mod out there that replaces V’s hands with feet. Don’t ask me why—it’s best not to dive too deep into the possible reasons. But what’s interesting is that one of the main developers from the original game, who’s also working on the sequel, is actually thrilled that such a mod exists.
Let’s be honest, I can definitely understand why Paweł Sasko, who used to be the lead quest designer and is now an associate game director at CD Projekt, finds the mod named ‘V feethand,’ created by modder Resetygk, quite amusing. It’s hilarious in its own odd way—albeit a bit unsettling.
During a late-night tweet session, Sasko, feeling a burst of creativity, shared his thoughts on the mod, joking that “Tarantino would be so proud.” He urged his followers not to miss out on what he called a gem, making it clear he’s totally amused by the feet-hands switcheroo.
That was pretty much all Sasko had to say, letting Resetygk’s quirky, self-written mod description speak for itself: “Change hand to feet. dont work well but i want one,” it says. Simple, yet oddly poetic, they saw fit to repeat it twice in the mod’s description.
Now, if you’re curious about how this odd mod plays, PC Gamer has taken it for a spin. They found the experience delivers the same delightful absurdity as the Witcher 3 mod that humorously morphs Geralt into a somewhat awkward centaur.
In case you’re contemplating whether this is the first of its kind, it’s not. Apparently, Resetygk has a thing for these mods and has crafted numerous feethand swaps for characters in Granblue Fantasy: Relink. They’ve put together 11 different mods of this sort, along with their creation titled ‘No shoes feet collection,’ all accessible on their modder page.
You might wonder why I’m mentioning this, but if I had to explore this wild corner of the modding world for this article, it’s only fair you get a peek too.
On a different note, if you’re searching for more practical (and less foot-centric) Cyberpunk 2077 mods, there’s one that helps prevent awkward encounters, such as running into a silent clone of your partner if you break into their apartment instead of waiting to meet them as planned.
