Savvy Games Group has announced the hiring of industry veteran Nika Nour as their new Senior Vice President and head of international business development. In a post shared on LinkedIn, the company stated that Nour will primarily focus on establishing and nurturing global strategic partnerships.
Nour comes with a wealth of experience, having previously held the position of head of partnerships at Genvid and serving as executive director at the IGDA Foundation. Her extensive background in gaming, technology, and entertainment spans over a decade, setting her up to lead significant initiatives for Savvy.
Savvy’s announcement highlighted that Nika will spearhead efforts to recruit game studios and businesses to expand into the Kingdom, reinforcing its status as a burgeoning games hub. Alongside this, she will offer strategic guidance on mergers, acquisitions, and investments to bolster Savvy’s ecosystem.
Expressing her enthusiasm, Nour stated, “I’m thrilled to be spearheading international partnerships and bringing more game studios into the region. A huge thanks to CEO Brian Ward for this exciting opportunity. I look forward to relocating to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and diving into this new journey.”
