It’s hard to imagine anyone mistaking the upcoming Switch 2 Direct for an April Fool’s prank.
Nintendo has officially announced that the Switch 2 Direct is set to go live on April 2nd, starting at 9 a.m. Eastern, 6 a.m. Pacific, 3 p.m. Central European time, and 11:00 Japan Standard Time. However, they’ve yet to reveal how long the event will run.
To give you some context, the previous Switch event—a major live Nintendo press gathering—took place at the Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan, and went live at 11 p.m. Eastern Time.
